Dating adverts strike gold
Hi everyone,
I was on the incel list for a while, until summer '02. Oddly
enough I missed the community, so was happy to find the expanded site (and the
success stories of others who were on the list the same time as me --
yay!)
When I left the list, I was 27 and had hardly dated anyone, largely
because of shyness, a limited social circle, and having grown up with a
religious background. I am also bisexual, and found it difficult to integrate
into the "lesbian" community coming from this lack of experience.
In '01
I decided to try Internet personals. I had fun dates that didn't lead to
anything and really awkward dates. But it was good to be dating! More than a
year after I posted my first ad, I heard from the woman who was to become my
girlfriend. She is also bi and shares a lot in common with me. We've been a
couple since summer '02 and moved in together last year. Our relationship is
good, and my previous lack of experience hasn't hindered us at
all!
Anyway, just wanted to say thanks again for the support of the incel
list and to encourage others to try the personals (you never know who you might
find)! If anyone remembers me from the list, I'd love to hear from you on the
forum.
